Loft9 Volunteers at Jubilee Women’s Center
Jubilee Women’s Center provides safe, low-cost community housing for single women transitioning out of homelessness and into independent living. Residents are offered educational opportunities, life skills training, and case management services all in an effort to support women during this pivotal time. In addition, Jubilee runs a clothing boutique which provides free gently-used clothing to women in need.
Community Involvement is a foundational value for Loft9 and is prevalent throughout the firm. Loft9 works with local community organizations to enable them to be more effective at what they do best. Loft9 partnered with Jubilee Women’s Center as they have similar purposes: to increase the bandwidth of those they work with. Jubilee Women’s Center’s assistance and training programs give women the resources they need to be most effective; Loft9 aims to provide this same benefit to its clients.
In addition to working with Jubilee Women’s Center, Loft9 is a sponsor of the Madhouse Project (http://www.themadhouseproject.org) as a major donor at its annual auction. Loft9 and its associates have a heart for community service and support The Bike MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Ride, Big Climb for Leukemia and Lymphoma, PANCAN, Children’s Hospital, PAWS, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
