Loft9 Volunteers at PAWS
SEATTLE – June 19th, 2012— Four Associates from Loft9 (www.loft9consulting.com), a Seattle-based consulting firm, volunteered at PAWS (www.paws.org) an animal rehabilitation center and shelter for adoptable dogs and cats. Two Associates spent the morning with members of the PAWS construction crew and worked to disassemble a derelict bird sanctuary in preparation for construction of a new structure. The second group organized the shelter’s food room including sorting a recent donation of over 800 pounds of dog and cat food. The task of organizing their food room had been on PAWS to-do list for over two years. Additionally, Associates helped with weeding of the front lawn and general cleaning tasks in the administrative offices.
PAWS is dedicated to helping animals in our community. In their own words: “PAWS is a champion for animals—rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs, and educating people to make a better world for animals and people.”
In addition to working with PAWS, Loft9 recently volunteered with Jubilee Women’s Center and is a sponsor of the Madhouse Project (http://www.themadhouseproject.org), being a major donor and large attendee at its annual auction. Loft9 and its associates have a heart for community service and supported The Bike MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Ride, Big Climb for Leukemia and Lymphoma, PANCAN, Children’s Hospital, PAWS, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
