Edward Beals
Founding Partner
Edward Beals leads the Business Development, Recruiting, and Culture programs at Loft 9. He has worked in a wide variety of industries and disciplines including software, Internet technologies, telecom, organizational change management, process improvement, customer service, engineering, and merger and acquisition/venture integration. Prior to co-founding Loft9, Edward worked at Point B, CGI (formerly American Management Systems), AT&T and Qwest.
Edward holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona and an MBA from the University of Phoenix and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He spends his free time with his family, traveling, hiking and attempting to cook dishes from around the world.
Mark Birzell
Founding Partner
Mark Birzell leads Loft9's Client Service Delivery and Associate Development programs. His work in a wide variety of industries and disciplines has enabled him to develop a broad view of the business world while delivering excellent results for his clients.
Mark has disciplines in operations, financial management, supply chain, process, cost management and services launches. Prior to co-founding Loft9, Mark worked at Fifth Third Bank, General Electric, Accenture and Point B, where he delivered on multiple, complex enterprise-wide initiatives for his clients.
Mark holds a degree in Finance from Miami University (Ohio) and is Six Sigma Black Belt certified. He enjoys spending time with his family, skiing and competing in marathons in his free time.
